Here is Your “Magic Pill” for Fat Loss

Friday, February 15th, 2008

By Chaney Weiner How many times have you heard that there is a magic pill for fat loss? We have heard it so many times in the past and once it became obvious that no one product could produce a magic pill for fat loss we started to hear that there is no magic pill for fat loss. First we hear there is and then we hear there isnt and still we have approximately 2/3 of the population that is either overweight or obese. The reality is that there is a magic pill for fat loss and every single one of us has it. It is our mind, more accurately our subconscious mind. There is no product or service in the past, present or future that is more powerful and that will guarantee you 100 % success than your own subconscious mind. Most motivational training is based on will power and persistence which is under your conscious control. Your conscious mind controls only 2-4% of your actions and beliefs. This is why most motivational training for fat loss fails. Since our subconscious mind controls 96-98% of your actions and beliefs then it makes perfect sense that we need to train that part of our mind for success. Every single one of us has the magic pill and that is our brains software in the form of our subconscious mind. View your brain as a computer. If your computer has outdated software or faulty software it wont operate properly. Now look at your brain. Our brain is programmed from the time we are born with software that is usually filled with lack programming (thoughts of limitations, scarcity, and negativity) and we carry those thoughts around in our subconscious mind and it is these thoughts that dictate how we look, feel, and operate in our daily lives. Take a look at all the so called and self proclaimed fitness experts who are promising fat loss with product after product. How many of them include reprogramming your mind for successvery very few. The fact is that when it comes to fat loss, if your subconscious mind, which every single one of us has complete control over, is not programmed properly for success, the best nutrition or exercise program will never work! Finding that one thing or that magic pill for fat loss does exist. It exists within us and usually goes untapped. Everything starts with what you want and once you program your mind for the success you want to achieve, the entire process of losing fat becomes a fun and enjoyable experience. Remember, you must believe it first BEFORE you see it! Chaney Weiner is a performance enhancement specialist and motivational coach. He has created a unique system of training that incorporates fitness training along with reprogramming the mind for success that helps both men and women change their bodies to look, feel, and perform better faster than ever before.Visit http://www.achievingbodiesfitness.com to receive your free copy of The 24 Best Motivational Fat Loss Tips Article Source: http://EzineArticles.com/?expert=Chaney_Weiner http://EzineArticles.com/?Here-is-Your-Magic-Pill-for-Fat-Loss&id=434116 buy phentermine on line no prescription cheapest phentermine pharmacy phentermine 30mg without prescription phentermine no prescription free shipping

“You Want to Do What?” Find Out What You Need to Know Before You Are Surprised By Your Partner

Thursday, February 14th, 2008

By Ann Bradley Most people get married in the heat of the moment and blinded by love. All that heat may be fun, but not for long. How much do you REALLY know about your partner? You wouldn’t believe how many people get married only to find out that the perfect partner is perfectly ‘icky’ or otherwise not what you thought you got. When she says, “Honey, let’s have a baby” and he says, “I don’t want kids” are you stunned and if so, why didn’t you know this before? Maybe you never asked. When he says, “Let’s go to church next Sunday” and she says, “Church? We never did this before. I’m an atheist.” are you surprised? If so, maybe you never asked her about something very important to YOU. Assumptions. We make them all the time because of the mutual attraction going on between two people. You find so much about her that you just adore and she returns all that adoration and more. Lovely dinners, fun nights out, fun in the bedroom, lots of fun everywhere, all the time, it seems. You become convinced this is your “soulmate”. It feels wonderful, and you can’t believe your good luck. But can you keep all this? Or will it fade away like you have seen it happen to others? Nothing stays the same, but relationships can get more grounded, you can learn to trust the intimacy, and yes, you can have a long lasting relationship. But you need to know more than you both like walks on the beach and penne pasta. Or lattes. Or sex in the morning. Would you like to know the things your love really cares about? The things that keep the love going over time, to make the passion last for a long long time? You have to ask the right questions. Questions can be fun, if you don’t come across as an interrogator! There are ways to do this and ways to make it fun so that you increase the depth of your relationship in a caring and intimate way that doesn’t scare anyone away. If you want to find out what they are visit http://www.cyberluv.com And if you are in not so good relationship, find out how to get out at http://www.narcissisticabuse.com From Relationship Coach, Ann Bradley, M.A. Article Source: http://EzineArticles.com/?expert=Ann_Bradley http://EzineArticles.com/?You-Want-to-Do-What?–Find-Out-What-You-Need-to-Know-Before-You-Are-Surprised-By-Your-Partner&id=507314 buy phentermine site phentermine mexico pharmacy phentermine pharmacy net phentermine with online prescription

God’s Blue Print for Saving Marriages

Wednesday, February 13th, 2008

By Jean LeStourgeon “All things were created by Him and for Him…and in Him all things hold together” (Colossians 1:16b-17a). Having a successful marriage first requires you to understand what God had in mind for marriage. After all, If you want to understand the purpose behind an invention, you consult the One who invented it, right! Since marriage is God’s creation, He is in the saving marriages business. God created marriage for three very specific reasons, just like He created you, for very specific reasons. Our lives are more satisfying when we cooperate with God in fulfilling our purposes. Marriage is no exception… First, you’ve probably learned that men and women were made in God’s image (Gen. 1:26-27). But, did you know that within the marriage relationship husbands and wives also bear the image of God? They do this by demonstrating love and faithfulness to each other…like God does with us. You see, God covenants with His people, husbands and wives covenant to each other and God. So marriage was created to reflect God’s faithfulness in the world. The second reason God created marriage was to meet human needs. Needs for food, shelter and clothing as well as needs for love, acceptance, intimacy, and faithfulness. In that way marriage is a picture to the world of how God provides for His people. Marriage is God’s conduit for love. It was designed to be a safe harbor where a man and a woman could be totally naked and unashamed. A place where they could experience the unconditional love and acceptance of God through each other. Third, marriage is one of the ways God expands His Kingdom and accomplishes His work in the earth. He commanded men and women to go forth and multiply, be fruitful and take dominion over the earth(Genesis 1:28).Unfortunately, it is very difficult to do as God commanded when you are at odds with your spouse. Conflict drains our emotional and creative energies. Sadly, many husbands and wives feel like they are sleeping with the enemy instead of with their comrade in arms. Marriage was designed with unity in mind. When a husband and wife are on the same page, so to speak, they are reflecting the unity of the Godhead. “For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and they will become one flesh” (Genesis 2:24). Unity is so important that Jesus told us it would be a great sign to the world testifying that He truly is the Son of God (John 17:23). Okay, now you have the general idea God had in mind when He designed marriage, but saving marriage requires a plan. First, you need to decide, once and for all, are you going to commit to honoring God through your marriage. Are you going to do it God’s way? Are you going to trust His word, His plan and His design? If you answered yes, let’s move on… If you’re making a plan to improve or save your marriage you need to start out on the right foot. That means getting right with God and your spouse first! To get right requires humility. It requires taking responsibility for the negative, sinful things you have contributed to your marriage without justifying yourself or blaming your spouse. Confession of sin can be a turning point in our lives. It means we are in agreement with God about our sin and we are choosing to turn away from it. When we do this, God’s word promises to give us the power to accomplish that. Some of the things you may want to consider confessing are: the ways in which you have not trusted and honored God, the ways you have not obeyed His word, the consequences of your choices to you, your spouse and your marriage. Exercising humility is a crucial part of any saving marriages plan. Making confession of sin a regular part of your marriage will keep you humble and help to maintain emotional intimacy. Apologies go a long way in keeping our hearts pliable and loving towards our spouse and God. The next step in the saving marriages blueprint is making a plan for knowing your spouse’s most important needs. You also must become intentional about meeting those needs. Your spouse will feel more connected and in love with you when you are meeting his/her most important emotional needs. Regular prayer is necessary for a successful marriage. Pray that God would show His love and faithfulness to your spouse through you. Prayer is how we experience the personal relationship we have with God through Christ. It is also where we avail ourselves to the grace of God. Therefore, your plan for saving marriage must include daily prayer for your spouse and your ability to love them. A marriage that reflects God’s image is a safe marriage. God is our refuge, therefore your marriage should be a refuge for both you and your spouse. A safe relationship is one where both husband and wife feel accepted even if there are disagreements. A plan for saving marriages needs to include a plan for safety. Neither spouse should ever have to worry about the proverbial nuclear bomb being dropped on them! That’s why a plan for saving marriages must address conflict. Your marriage can be free from condemnation, contempt, critical attitudes and defensiveness. It’s your choice! It can be a place where you are quick to take responsibility for your own actions and slow to point your finger of blame. It is not, however, a marriage that is free from conflict. But, yours can be a marriage where both parties fight fair. Finally, your saving marriages plan needs to include specific goals, goals that are written down. After all, God wrote down His plan…we call it the Bible! Isn’t that a good enough reason for you to write down your plan for your marriage. Written goals are powerful. They help move a plan into motion. Keep in mind, your goals need to be consistent with God’s purpose for your marriage. Your goals will help you stay on track and give more purpose, meaning and direction to your marriage and family life. You may want to have goals in the following areas: Spiritual (we will study and pray together regularly), parenting (we will always be unified when disciplining the children), finances ( we will decide on a budget and stick to it), health (we will exercise regularly and eat right), communication (we will speak lovingly and respectfully to one another). Well, that should be enough to get you started developing your own personal saving marriages plan. Remember, the Creator of marriage is in the business of saving marriages. Put your hope in the Lord for with Him is unfailing love and full redemption (Psalm 130:7). Jean LeStourgeon, MA, is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in private practice in Palm Bay, Florida. Find Reputable Internet Dating Services That Want To Earn Your Trust

Monday, February 11th, 2008

By William Lezubski Internet dating services are popping up online like dandelions in the spring, and sometimes for a newcomer, it’s hard to recognize which ones are the reputable dating sites that are willing to offer you the best Internet dating service to earn your trust, and which ones are out to take your money with false promises! In order to find an online dating site that you will be comfortable with, you have to visit each one individually online, view their services, and hopefully the information they provide makes you feel at ease! How do you know if one particular dating service is more genuine over the other dating services? At first you don’t know, because you’re relying on their written sales jargon! When you land on their page it looks nice and fancy, and it shows lots of single members with beautiful photos, and well written profiles, but do you ever ask yourself, is that person’s photo real, were the relationships posted true, or is this a way to entice you to join? If the above questions are a concern to you, then you have to do your research, read and fully understand their policy and privacy statements, and most of all go with your gut instincts if something doesn’t sound right! Most of the top dating relationship sites offer free dating services such as free personals, and free matchmaking to secure your trust, but they also make it clear that they provide more advanced services for their online members with many options and secure features. So for any reason you stumble on a so-called free dating web site, make sure you find out where they are getting money to support their dating business. Nothing is totally free, and you have to be very careful they don’t have a hidden agenda. Never provide personal information such as your credit card number, or online banking information if you’re not completely satisfied with a particular Internet service and their lack of security features! The online dating industry is truly exciting, and it is a fantastic way to conveniently find singles that have your same interests in mind. By saying this, there are many online matchmaking businesses that have a very good reputation, and have proven to be successful in providing avenues for single men and women searching for relationships on the Internet. However, always do extensive research, and use your best instincts to make sure your safety is first priority. Once you feel comfortable, you’re ready to take the next step to finding your true love online. Web Sales Can Increase Your Crafting Revenue

Sunday, February 10th, 2008

By N Goyette Think of an ideal craft show for a moment thousands of people coming through the turnstiles at the fairgrounds or the exhibition areas with money in their hands and an intense desire to spend it. What about having a million people with access to your crafts at a craft show - at any time they wanted. That would really be IDEAL! At a typical craft show, you are going to see hundreds, and maybe a couple thousand people visiting over any given weekend. Some shows are bigger than others, but even with 2,000 people coming through the gates, how many of them are stopping and looking at your booth with the intention of buying? It can vary. If you could somehow increase the number of people that stop by your booth, it makes sense that you could increase your sales, right? Have you thought of a website for your crafts? This is the ultimate craft show - millions of people can access your information and your products, and you have limited set up fees - and orders can be placed while you are sleeping snug in your bed at night. Putting together a good website for your crafts takes a little bit of effort to get off the ground, but it might be well worth the work. Here’s what you have to do: ” Design a site - You can probably find someone to give you a hand with this, and it doesn’t have to be very elaborate looking - just enough to show pictures of your crafts, their prices, a little bit about you etc. It is important to make sure that you set the site up with a secure credit card payment system, as this will aid in a greater number of sales, just like in a regular craft show. ” Find a host - All sites need a web host in order to post them on the Internet. There are hundreds of providers out there, and you just need to find the one that is right for you. Chances are you have a friend or acquaintance that has a website, and they may be able to help you with on for your crafts. ” Drive traffic to the website - This can be done any number of ways: articles like this one, having others link to your site, update your pages regularly so your pages are indexed by search engines like Google and Yahoo! Coming up with the right keywords for your crafts is important for when people are searching the Internet for the type of craft you make. ” Maintain the site - I would suggest updating your crafting website at least once every two weeks, and maybe even once a week if you have time. This provides a certain amount of confidence for web buyers that your craft site up alive and well! While having a website can certainly boost your sales, the other side of the coin is that you might be inundated with orders! That’s not necessarily a bad thing, except you could be working night and day to meet the orders! One way to avoid this is to post on your website how many of a certain item is available. Remember imagining a craft show where millions of people came in and they had money to spend on crafts? Now you have it albeit a virtual craft show. The sky is the limit when you are talking about selling your crafts on the Internet. With the right presentation, the right price and with the right traffic driven to your site, you can open the doors to your crafts for millions of people. What Type of Gazebo is Right for You? Top Questions You Need to Ask

Saturday, February 9th, 2008

By Dion Semeniuk Having a gazebo in the backyard is an excellent way to enhancethe appearance while providing you with a quiet place to sit andrelax after a hard day at work. Gazebos are wonderful forbarbecue parties, family gatherings, or simply sipping on a cupof coffee or glass of lemonade on a lazy day. To create aromantic setting, you could string miniature lights along therailing and roof of the gazebo and then spend time with someonespecial out under the stars. Because of their popularity, thenumber of gazebo sales is rising. However, as with anyinvestment, you want to make sure you choose the right type. For that reason, consider the top five questions you should ask. Can gazebos withstand strong winds? If you live in a part of the country prone to high winds(Chicago), then this is a very important question to ask. Ifthe gazebo is constructed properly, it will hold up even inwindy conditions. The reason is that the gazebo canopy isdesigned with a wind vent that releases strong wind pressure. In addition, your gazebo would be anchored securely at thevertical points so the base, whether wood, stone, or concrete,is solid. Finally, gazeboes are heavy. For example, an 11-footmodel will typically weigh between 325 and 350 pounds. Will my gazebo have a bug screen? When shopping around for a gazebo, remember that not all includethe price of screens to keep out little creatures. Therefore,if you want a screen, you need to consider two things, first, the additional cost and second, the weight. In other words, make sure your type of gazebo is designed to handle the screenif you decide to add one on at a later date. How is the foundation floor secured? This is also an important question to ask since not all gazeboesare created equal. Most gazebos are erected on a foundationsuch as wood deck, concrete slab, or paver patio. Whateversurface you choose, the gazebo will need to be anchored. Forthe wood gazebo, screws can be run through the bottom plate ofthe wall section and then into the deck. For concrete, youwould drill through the bottom plate and then into the concrete, using concrete anchors. Then for the paver bricks, you want touse a concrete pier that is raised to the height of the paverbrick for each of the corners. What choices do I have for size? Most gazebo manufacturers make three specific sizes. First, youhave the smaller size, which measures 7.5 x 6.5-feet, followedby the family size that is 11 x 9.5-feet, and finally, the grandsize that is 18 x 15.5-feet. Now keep in mind that you can alsobuy plans to build your own gazebo or hire a professional toconstruct one that is custom made if you want a smaller orlarger size. Additionally, with these options, you can addfeatures that you might not get with a standard type gazebo, such as windows, special molding, wider steps, benches, and soon. What are the advantages of the different type material? The last of the five questions to ask when considering a gazebohas to do with material. In most cases, three types of materialare used, which include pine, cedar, and vinyl. For the pine, this is pressure treated and extremely strong. Because of that,it will last a lifetime and most are guaranteed against termiteand rot damage. Cedar is also a very popular choice in that itlooks beautiful and is naturally resistant to termites and rot. However, the cedar generally looks nicer when stained or paintedso there would be minor upkeep. Finally, vinyl is a lowmaintenance material that is strong and sometimes covered withtreated pine. That means while you pay less for a vinyl gazebo, you still get the beauty and sound structure of the pine option. How To Word Your Invitation For The Wedding Dinnner Buffet

Friday, February 8th, 2008

By Victor Epand While indicating menu choices on the response card is not proper according to the highest standards of etiquette, it is a practice that has become widely accepted. The best way to handle the three options is to include a space before each option on the response card. As with anything, less is more…the simpler you can make things for your guests, the more likely you are to get accurate responses. You may even consider a short line after “are pleased to accept”.I am suggesting the following items without taking into consideration food allergies, etc. I’ll also suggest some vegetarian-only, low-sodium, and other alternatives. Swedish or barbecue meatballs are always a favorite. These can be served alone or with lightly buttered linguini offered nearby. Lasagna is also easy to make and serves many, as is spaghetti. Sides of steamed vegetables (spinach, broccoli) and garlic bread are both easy and economical. If you’d prefer some American dishes, boneless buffalo wings, coleslaw, and pulled pork barbecue can also serve many at a lower price. Another good choice (and good for kids) is homemade pizza. You could have this along with some French fries for anyone who may not like anything else. Eggplant parmesan is a good choice if you have vegetarians or people on low-sodium diets. Lightly seasoned chicken breast is also a good choice for people who are concerned about eating heart-healthy. Also make sure you have whole-grain rolls or bread available and a do-it-yourself salad bar is sure to be a hit. Start with a big bowl of chopped lettuce and red cabbage. Put out bowls with cucumbers, celery, mushrooms, carrots, grape tomatoes, raw broccoli, and other salad accompaniments. Choose at least 3 salad dressings and oil and vinegar dressing. For a reception that large, you will undoubtedly be cooking a lot of food and some of it (like the meatballs, etc.) may be difficult to keep warm. Be sure to invest in plenty of chafing dishes and sterno. You may want to cook a lot of the food in advance and then freeze it. If your reception area has a kitchen, you can start thawing or cooking the food in the oven the morning before the ceremony. Have two or three people continue to thaw and cook the food during the ceremony so that the food will be warm by the time it needs to be replenished then keep them warm with hotplates or sterno. Things like chicken, meatballs, etc. can be kept warm in crock pots and the crock pots can be switched out when the other one is empty. I personally like buffets best. Guest can pass on what they do not want and get what they do like. A properly chosen buffet can satisfy likes and dislikes and dietary needs. With a sit down there is the meal and that is it. Also if the entree is one that is not so good you are stuck with it where on the buffet you still have choices. You could serve appetizers instead of a full meal. I think it would save considerably on the cost. But the only problem that you will have is that when your guest get there invitation that will assume that there will be a dinner after the wedding. While I understand both points I believe they are following the line. That when you are keeping the people (your guest) over a dinner hour that your guest will expect a full meal and a meal should be served. If your time is between meals then the appetizer reception would be proper when it is put that way in the invitation. Victor Epand is an expert commentator at http://www.CustomDesignPostcards.com. The Middle Way of the Buddha

Friday, February 8th, 2008

By Mahu D Beneath the Bodhi tree the future-buddha entered four subsequent states of meditation, and from these, he remembered his previous lives and gained understanding of the processes of samsara that all forms of life are subject to. He saw that the cause of rebirth was ignorance which would only cease when the need for sense-pleasures were quenched. As his ignorance of the truth was dispelled he was set free, and seeing things as they truly are, he became an enlightened being. A Buddha. After the Buddha had singlehandedly found the path that leads to freedom, he returned to his former ascetic companions and shared with them the truth (Dharma/Damma) of his discovery, at the deer park in Benares. This was the setting for his first sermon known as the Dhamma-cakka-pavattana sutta, which means ‘discourse on the setting in motion the wheel of truth’. The Buddha revealed the Four Noble Truths concerning Dukkha/Duhkha, a word, originally sanskrit, that can be translated as meaning ’suffering’ or alternatively as ‘anguish’, ‘unsatisfactoriness’ or ‘ill’. The first noble truth is that the nature of existence, as experienced by all living things is suffering. this truth was the cause of the Buddha’s initial agitation when he first encountered old age, disease, and death. Everything that is born is subject to decay and death and is therefore recognized as ‘Anicca’, that is, impermanent. within samsara all are fated to suffer this process repeatedly, not only in this world, but also in the other various levels of existence that can be both heavenly and hellish, the destination determined by an individuals particular karma. Greed, Hatred, and Delusion, being specific to the nature of samsara, are also states of suffering. Both dukkha and anicca are categorized as two of the ‘three marks of conditioned existence’, the third being ‘Anatta’ or ‘no-self’. According to Buddhism the individual self is not really a ’self’ at all but an illusionary construct of five aggregates known as Skhandhas/skandas. these are; 1)Rupa (form); 2) Vedana (feeling); 3) Sanna (perception); 4) Sankaras (skilled or unskilled actions or tendencies); and 5) Vinnana (consciousness). It is these skandas, in interaction with one another, that are to be understood as being subject to samsara rather than the individual, who does not really exist. In a Buddhist text known as ‘Milinda’s Questions’ the body is likened to a chariot. Here, the monk Nagasena demonstates for the benefit of the inquiring King Milinda that as the individual parts of the ’self’ do not contain the ’self’ within themselves, then “How can there be a self?”, when the individual parts are viewed collectively? Likewise, the seperate parts of a chariot have no ‘chariot’ within them, so how is it that a chariot exists when the parts are connected? The answer is “there is no chariot” and similarly neither is there a self. the ’self’ is merely a convenient label of no real substance (Horner, I.B ‘trans’, in Beckerlegge, 2001, p.349-51). And so, the individual is seen as anatta. The second noble truth concerns the cause, or ‘Uprising’, of suffering. Dukkha is born from ignorance and perpetuated through our desire for sense-pleasures. Existence is perceived as a series of conditions that function within a wheel of cause and effect known as Paticcasamuppada, which means ‘Dependent Origination’ or ‘Conditional Arising’. It is all wrong desires that keep the wheel turning. As all wrong desires have adverse causes, they also have adverse effects, which in turn become causes of more forms of suffering. The Buddha regarded individuals to be ‘on fire’ through their attachment to objects of desire (Horner, I.B ‘trans’, in Beckerlegge, 2001, p.344). In feeding the flames of the senses, we perpetuate the false belief that we are real, and as we persist in ‘Ever-Becoming’ samsara retains its awful hold: If this is, that comes to be; From the arising of this, that arise; However; If this is not, that does not come to be; From the stopping of this, that is stopped ‘Majjhima-Nikaya 2.32′ (Horner, B.I ‘trans’, in Zaehner, R.C, ‘ed’, 2001, p.277) With the third noble truth the Dharma of Buddhism makes the transition from darkness to light as it reveals, optimistically, that there is an end to suffering. By dispelling ignorance and quenching the flames of sense-desire, the realm of conditional existence, along with all impermanence and suffering that distinquishes it, can be transcended: There is an island which you cannot go beyond. It is a place of nothingness, a place of non-possession and of non-attachment. It is the total end of death and decay, and this is why i call it Nibbana (the extinquished, the cool). ‘Kappas Question in the Sutta-Nipata’ (Saddhatissa. H, in Beckerlegge, 2001, p.349) The root meaning of Nirvana, or Nibbana, is to ‘blow out’ such as the blowing out of a fire. The word ’skanda’ means ‘heap’ or ‘bundle’ and can refer to a bundle of wood. As already mentioned, the burning of individuals by their desire for sense-objects has them caught up in samsara and a state of ever-becoming. the skandas which constitute the self, or rather, the no-self, can be compared to a burning bundle of wood that needs to be extinquished. And when the desires for sense-objects are ‘blown out’ Nirvana is attained. The fourth noble truth is the path that is to be followed if there is to be an end of suffering. It is the practice of Buddhism Itself, known as the Eight-Fold Way, which is often divided into three categories. These are: A) wisdom. which includes, 1) perfect understanding and 2) perfect resolve, which are both related to a correct knowledge and application of the Buddha’s teachings in the life of an individual. B) morality, which includes, 3) perfect speech, that is, talking in a kind and truthful manner, and 4) Perfect action by dealing honestly with others and avoiding sense-pleasure. Also 5) perfect livelihood, that is, earning an honest living that doesn’t exploit other human beings or cater for sense-pleasures. C) mental discipline, which includes 6) Perfect effort, which is the development and maintenance of skilled mental states and ridding oneself of unskilled mental states; 7) perfect mindfulness of the body, feelings, mind and mental states, and finally 8) perfect concentration, which is to be acheived through the disipline of ‘Jhana’, that is, meditaion… …The forth noble truth is also known as the Middle Way. Buddhist meditation should conform with the middle way, as reflected in the legend of the Buddha when he positioned himself beneath the tree of awakening. the mind needs to be balanced if the realm of extremes is to be transcended. the middle way lies “between the two extremes of self-indulgence…” as reflected in the person of Siddhartha the prince, “…and self-torture” as reflected in the person of Siddhartha the emaciated ascetic (Horner, I.B, in Zaehner R.C ‘ed’, 2001,p.271). The Hindu practice of extreme self-denial, that was, and continues to be performed by ascetics in the pursuit of Moksha/Mukti was rejected by the Buddha. Such overt zelousness is concidered to be without true value, as is indifference towards spiritual attainment. However, individuals must apply themselves to the way of the Buddha, and are encouraged to investigate spiritual matters for themselves, and not blindly accept what a prestigious teacher may claim, out of respect. It is when you know the truth yourself, that it is to be accepted (Woodward, F.L ‘trans’, ‘Kalama Sutta’ in Beckerlegge, 2001, p.348). Also, the monastic lifestyle can be viewed as embodying the principle of the middle way. For two and a half millennia it has remained the prefered enviroment conducive to the attainment of Nirvana. Harvey observes that it lies between the extremes of a reclusive existence and the life of a brahmanic householder.Concerning the four noble truths, cousins tells us that the first truth is to be ‘fully comprehended’; the second is to be ‘abandoned’; the third is to be ‘made visible’; the fourth is to be ‘brought into being’. It is for the transformation from a negative to a positive state that the path of Buddhism is the be followed. It requires the rejection of what is unskilful and the cultivation of what is skillful, such as generosity, compassion for all beings, and wisdom (the opposites of greed, hatred, and delusion mentioned above). It is a path that leads to calm, balance and detatchment from desire, and the indescribable Nirvana that awaits beyond. Bad Credit Business Loan - Bad Credit Business Loans May Be the Answer

Thursday, February 7th, 2008

By Debbie White Although your business has become a fixture of the community that serves it well, you may never have been able to get out from under the accumulation of business related debt. Regardless of the reason, the business cash flow is not equal to the monthly bills, which are beginning to fall behind. With each payment that isn’t made, the interest on the business debt continues to accrue, make the debt larger and more difficult to pay. Each missed payment results in a stiff late fee or missed payment charge that adds to the debt mess. To make matters worse, the credit history of the business is beginning to be affected, and the credit rating has become poor. In fact, the credit rating of the business has declined so far that the usual business lenders will not entertain any request for a new loan. Is it time to start looking for a bad credit business loan? And will the terms make a bad credit business loan a good idea or just another nail in the coffin of your business? Under certain specific conditions a bad credit business loan may be a reasonable solution. But first, lets define what a bad credit business loan actually means. A bad credit business loan is usually offered by alternative loan providers to individuals or businesses that conventional lenders shy away from because of the poor credit rating of the business. The terms of a bad credit business loan are usually more stringent than a conventional business loan both in terms of repayment time and interest rates. The interest rates are usually quite steep in comparison with those of conventional lenders and banks. They may be nearly doubled that of a normal small business loan and they also may have shorter repayment times. They often will have strict penalties levied for late payments and missing a payment may make the entire loan immediately due and payable. How can such terms be beneficial to a business that it already in financial trouble? Usually they are not and securing a bad credit business loan may signify the death knell of a business. However, there are some specific situations where taking out a bad credit business loan may give an ailing business the monetary shot in the arm it needs to ride out its financial problems. If the situation exists that there is a significant amount of business that can be relied upon that is just about to begin, it may be a good idea to take out a bad credit business loan to become current on the bills and stop accumulating penalties. For example, a bed and breakfast may have finished renovation during the winter months and begun falling behind on bills during the spring months, but has already booked the residence solid for the summer vacation months. Even the next fall looks like it will be busy, with many new reservations coming in daily. In this instance it will be a benefit to take out a bad credit business loan and get current on all business debts. Then the increased income that will be available in the summer will allow the saving account to grow and even provide for double payments against the bills with the highest interest rates. In certain individual cases the ability to pay off some of the accumulated debt may be preferred to other debt management solutions such as business debt consolidation or even business debt settlement. This is especially true since these solutions may no longer be available to the business that has earned a poor credit rating. In this case, a bad credit business loan may be the only remaining option. And, in other cases such as brand new or seasonal businesses that have yet to experience their full income potential, a bad credit business loan may be the necessary bridge to reach financial equilibrium.
